Who wins?

Last week we explained why we expect US crude exports to grow from 1.8m b/d so far this year to average 4.1m b/d by 2021. This explosive growth – which we expect to outstrip that of any other exporting country –  will be supported both by higher US crude production and a growing domestic appetite for imported heavy sour crude oil. This week we assess the implications for tankers.
